White sheepskin winter hat with cotton lining, similar to the one worn by Yul Brynner in the 1962 movie "Taras Bulba" directed by J. Lee Thompson. This style has been worn by Don, Kuban and Terek Cossacks for centuries. Popularized by Khabib Nurmagomedov, a Russian mixed martial artist who is the current UFC Lightweight Champion. Handmade of real lambskin, this soft and cozy papakha will keep your head warm in any weather. Shade and pelt characteristics may vary. Production time: up to 7 business days.

Thank you so much for the beautiful papakha! Many years ago, around 2001, I got a homemade papakha from a shepherd in the Caucasus and, although not the snuggest fit, it's still one of my warmest head coverings for our bitterly cold winters. This papakha is so beautiful and it fits like my favourite pair of gloves! I'm almost hoping for winter to stay a bit longer - okay, not really. It is very well made of quality sheepskin and there is absolutely no reason to get cold with this. Certainly my new polar vortex go-to favourite! I appreciate your excellent customer service too.

This is an awesome hat...

This is an awesome hat. I have never seen or worn anything like it. Actually saving it for the really severe weather. Well worth the money.
