Black Russian ushanka hat handmade of real rabbit fur with cotton lining. Shapka ushanka literally stands for a "hat with ears" or "hat with ear flaps". Perfect for protecting from winter winds and snow storms. Can be worn with ear flaps tied above the hat crown, below the chin or behind the neck. Production time: up to 7 business days.

Very satisfied! I requested the order be done quickly so my husband could wear the hat to a winter wedding. The hat arrived with plenty of time, and we both loved it! It looked amazing with a morning suit. The wedding happened to be on the coldest day of the season, and he was so happy to have his head warm! He's been wearing it constantly since then. As an Australian living...
As an Australian living in NYC, I figured that Russian winter apparel would keep me warm, soI ordered my black Ushanka last northern winter, and it was a very cold winter in NYC, my hat kept my head wonderfully warm in NYC and in Oslo. Everyone said I looked Russian. I have just ordered a grey Ushanka and some Valenki boots, I fully expect them to be as good as my black Ushanka. I am going to save up for a Samovar. I love this site.

My Ushanka hat is great! I live in Bitburg, Germany and it has finally gotten cold enough to wear. I cannot tell you how many compliments I have received while wearing it. I'm very impressed, I find it hard to believe how soft and luxurious it is to the touch. I'm looking forward to the coldest day here, to give me an opportunity to wear it. Thanks also for including the extra Naval badge and for placing it on, I'm not sure I would have worked out back from front any other way. Thought the little key ring gift was cute as well, a nice touch. You have no idea how long I have wanted and searched for one of these hats. A big thanks, you have made my week.
