Such black Karakul (Persian lamb) "kubanka" hats have been worn throughout the centuries by Russian Cossacks living on the banks of the Kuban River. Handmade by top class furriers of real Astrakhan fur, this cozy fur hat will keep your head warm in any weather. Image shows members of the Imperial Army. Height: approximately 5 1/2 inches (14 cm). Pelt characteristics may vary. Production time: up to 7 business days.

The hat is beautifully made from excellent materials, fits well and arrived in perfect condition. It actually arrived much faster than I had expected, with everything that's going on right now. I appreciate the excellent service.

Just want to say that...
Just want to say that the hat and scarf is best quality! Would rather let the producer take the money for the import cost, but if the custom will not accept package as a gift next time the extra fee is worth it since the products are way more luxury than any plastic thing from China there is to get in the European Union.

Just went to the depot...
Just went to the depot and picked up my hat. It really is as good as I expected, fits perfectly and is incredibly warm as well as looking fantastic. Thank you very much for the great hat! Good fit. On a couple...
Good fit. On a couple of occasions when the weather was cold enough, it kept my head warm. A bonus was the number of people complimenting me on the kubanka. One minor negative was I had to take off the kubanka while driving - perhaps a half height or 2/3 height version would have helped. I'm satisfied.

This hat is one of my collections from Russian Legacy and I could say that this is a truly sophisticated, stylish hat and could be considered as a trademark of Tsarist Russia for the hat's beauty and splendour. This is one of the best second to the Doctor Zhivago style which is a classic and elegant. Choose between the two, or buy both and I can assure you, YOU'LL NEVER REGRET owning these two beautiful craftsmanship of Russia at it's best.
