World-famous black Karakul (Persian lamb) ambassador hat with a decorative cuff favored by such Soviet General Secretaries as Nikita Khrushchev, Leonid Brezhnev and Mikhail Gorbachev. Handmade by top class furriers of real Astrakhan fur, this cozy fur hat with cotton lining will keep your head warm in any weather. Optional foldaway ear flaps are made of black woolen cloth and partly cover neck as well. Brim width: 3 1/3 inches (9 cm). Hat height: 6 1/3 inches (16 cm). Pelt characteristics may vary. Production time: up to 7 business days.

My wife and I decided...
My wife and I decided to order hats: the women's Astrakhan winter hat for her and the Karakul Gorbachev ambassador hat for me. The first thing that surprised me was how quickly we received the hats. The next thing was the quality and the feeling when we unpacked them. They are actually better than I dared hope for. We have had some cold days in Norway now. The hats are wonderfully comfortable and warm, and I feel pretty good with it on my head, not to mention stylish. My wife loves it too, and looks absolutely smashing. We can definitely recommend these.

The hat is absolutely amazing. I wish I came to you sooner. It is just what I wanted and fits perfectly. Great customer service. Timely delivery and top quality. The black Astrakhan fur material is luscious and soft to the touch and has a snug, comfortable fit on my head. I will definitely be buying more items in the future such as the scarf and some other types of headgear. Will definitely recommend it to all potential buyers. Russian Legacy is the best!

Fantastic quality hat...
Fantastic quality hat, true to size and exactly what is needed for winter. I have seen many similar offerings from Pakistan and other countries but nothing close to the quality offered by the guys and girls at Russian Legacy. A very helpful team. Prompt and well packed. Thoroughly recommended.

After really a very...
After really a very rough day I went down to the lobby and my new ambassador hat had arrived! I unwrapped it and was immediately struck by how luxuriant and soft the lambs wool was, and even the inner lining, compared to the very fine hat which had served me for some 35 years. I tried it on and it fits beautifully, just a wee tad more snug than the other, but that will keep the cold air and snow out. I believe this hat will keep me warmer than the other one. So, thank you so very much for my hat, it is wonderful, and I will strongly recommend you to anyone else looking for similar goods.

Many thanks for the hat, which is great and fits perfectly. I am UK size 7 3/8 and USA size 7 1/2, which sometimes causes confusion. Because I have a big head some hats make my head look even bigger and I never wear them. But oddly this one, with the folded up brim round, makes my head look normal. And the hat being black helps too.

Production and delivery of the hat occurred on time, actually, slightly before the date which was committed. The hat itself is exquisite. While it is clear that it is a custom-made product, it is made with great care and precision. The lining is of the highest quality and fastened meticulously and securely. The hat itself has perfect shape and symmetry, its durability and expected resistance is solid, and its folds are absolutely spot-on. The fur is beautiful and flawless; the pictures they present on the site do not do the finished product justice. The fit is perfection and handsome. I will consider shopping at Russian Legacy many times over.

I wanted to thank you for helping to make my friend's birthday the best ever! The hat arrived yesterday and I presented it to him this afternoon. The look on his face after opening the box was priceless!!!!! His expression reminded me of a young boy opening a long-wished for present from Santa on Christmas.
