As all traditional Gzhel items, this biscuit dish was first created in a plaster form cast from liquid porcelain mass. After the first burning the form was painted with cobalt while keeping the background white. Then the painting was covered with glaze. Glaze fused and made the surface of the work glassy, giving cobalt its blue color. Dimensions: 11.8x8.7 inches (30x22 cm). Ships from Moscow, Russia within 7 business days.
