World-famous gray Astrakhan fur (Persian lamb) ambassador hat with a decorative cuff favored by such Soviet General Secretaries as Leonid Brezhnev and Mikhail Gorbachev. Handmade by top class hatters of real Karakul, this cozy fur hat with cotton lining will keep your head warm in any weather. Shade and pelt characteristics may vary. Optional foldaway ear flaps (as seen on item of different style) are made of gray woolen cloth and partly cover neck as well. Brim width: 3 2/3 inches (9 cm). Hat height: 6 1/3 inches (16 cm). Production time: up to 7 business days.

The hat is marvelous...
The hat is marvelous, it is beautifully made and of high quality. It fits perfectly and kept my head warm during the last days with windy weather and temperatures down to -12 °C here in Zürich. The hat is great. I was...
The hat is great. I was very pleased to get it so quickly. We have been having some unusually chilly weather here in the east of England, with cold winds, thick ice on untreated roads and knee-high snow drifting off the fields. My daily walk has become a daily trudge, but the hat keeps me beautifully warm and helps me do it in a little more style.

Love the hat and its...
Love the hat and its quality. It's so lush and luxury feeling and looking that I get compliments on it all the time. Most importantly though it makes me feel so regal like I'm in the classic comedy movie Coming to America with this style of the hat.

This is my 4th hat from...
This is my 4th hat from Russian Legacy and all of them are made to perfection. I tell you the company is the real deal. My last hat was the Astrakhan Gorbachev in grey - and the color was amazing dark with beautiful hints of silver. You will never find another company with such excellent fur makers and customer service that helps you until the very end.

On several occasions...
On several occasions I have been to Moscow where I admired the stylish and warm headwear. It proved to be quite difficult however to purchase the right one over there without being shortchanged (to say the least). Like most foreigners I ended up with a hat that wasn't very expensive, but lost loads of hair and was described by my Russian friends as 'roadkill'. Now I got this superb hat of truly superior fur, ordered in the US of all places! Russian Legacy has excellent customer service as well in my experience. Now this Dutchy has a warm, classy head in winter! Recommended, full marks.
