Order Processing Time

Most of RussianLegacy.com orders ship within 5-10 business days of their receipt (i.e. 5-10 working days from the moment your credit card is approved; excluding weekends and national holidays) unless the product page states differently. This is conditioned by the fact that most of our orders are custom made. Urgent order processing is available on request. If there are specific deadlines to be met, make sure you indicate them in the "Comments" field (just under your choice of the Shipping Method on the first page of your Checkout) while placing your order. If no deadlines were specified while the order was placed, we will ship the order according to our default processing time (5-10 business days).

Shipping Methods

At present most of RussianLegacy.com orders are shipped out of our Eastern European warehouses. They are located in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Tomsk, Russia as well as in Chisinau, Moldova. Some orders (about 2% of the total) ship from within the United States. Orders shipped from Russia or Moldova are mailed either via International Airmail or Federal Express.

Internatonal Airmail (10-15 business days)

International Airmail is a registered method of delivery that requires signature for delivery. Delivery normally takes 10-15 business days, but may take longer during holiday times (e.g.: Christmas, New Year's, Easter, etc). Shipping and handling charge is based solely on the weight of your parcel.

Unfortunately, Russian and Moldovan postal systems do not provide us with tracking numbers for Airmail shipments. Tracking numbers come only with parcels shipped via Federal Express.

Federal Express (3-5 business days)

Federal Express shipments are arranged via FedEx Corporation and are the quickest method of delivery we offer. Delivery normally takes 3-5 business days, but may take longer during holiday times (e.g.: Christmas, New Year's, Easter, etc). Shipping and handling charge is based solely on the weight of your parcel.

FedEx tracking codes are provided for each parcel shipped via Federal Express, which makes them "trackable" via FedEx website.

Other Shipping Options

Some RussianLegacy.com items - e.g.: mink fur hats, samovars, etc. - ship via EMS GarantPost (equivalent to USPS Global Express in the USA) at the expense of RussianLegacy.com. Your pay only the International Airmail charge, we cover the rest.

DHL Express or UPS delivery may be arranged only at the recepient's expense (i.e. using the recepient's account number(s) with the respective carrier).

Risk of Loss

All items purchased from RussianLegacy.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier (cf. our Conditions of Use).
